Portrait
With 4 triumphs and 13 Giant World Cup podiums already under his belt, Italian Max Blardone, 2nd place of the Overall Ranking in this discipline in 2006, 2007 and 4th ranking of last season, figures among the great masters of Giant skiing.
Equipped by Salomon’s Italian racing service since 1992 (when he was just 13), Max accomplished his first victories with Salomon: Junior World Champion title in 1999 and his first World Cup victories in 2005.
Having changed ski equipment providers back in 2007, this Italian racer decided at the end of the 2009 winter season to return to the ski equipment brand that had driven him to the summit, just like Mario Matt.
Equipped with new Powerline skis and the X3 last generation in racing ski boots, Max hopes to conquer new victories as well as win an Olympic medal and Crystal Globe to reward his colossal ski talent!
