Highlights
My skihistory is like a fairytale. I  really like to ski. I competed for the first time when I was four years old . During my childhood I  was into many sports, but when I was 16 I decid ed to choose cross country skiing as main sport. I moved to Torsby Skigymnasium to train and study for 4 years. I had many good results during these years and was ranked number one Junior in Sweden in the last year when I won JWC in relay. But then all my dreams have been destroyed after a training session with the Swedish national team in the Glacieer Sognefjell. I got  big stomach problems and finally I had to take a hard decision – stop skiing as a top athlet. Instead I began to study and it took some years until my body worked good again.

Christmas 2005 my familiy travelled to Idre in Sweden to celebrate my fathers birthday. There I had many days with nice skiing.  When I was back home I participed in a little ski race just for fun and suddenly I was back again after five years without training. My body functioned again and it felt very nice. I was really happy the day I crossed the finishline in Vasaloppet 2007 as the fourth best female – for me it was a victory.
But the next two years it was my time to be a real Vasaloppswinner!  My fairytale!
